Spinning, Anyone?

Are there any local customers who would like to come take group spinning lessons at Yarnzilla? I have access to a fantastic spinning teacher -- now all we need are people interested in beginning and/or intermediate spinning classes.

The only prerequisite is that you have your own wheel and starter fibers, since Yarnzilla doesn't sell spinning supplies. Speaking of spinning supplies, look what UPS brought me today:

That's a lump of luscious, lovely natural brown merino roving, from the flock of Jean Near of Utopia Ranch in California and processed beautifully as always by Zielinger's in Michigan. Yum!!! It's like chocolate for spinners . . .

I have my fingers crossed that we'll be able to pull a small class together, as my wheel skills have gotten very rusty and I'd love to improve them. If you'd like to have your name put on a list of people interested in taking a spinning class, please call the shop at 952-936-0030, and we'll start a list.

I'd be interested in spinning classes if they're held on weekends. I already spin, but I've never taken a class so it certainly couldn't hurt. -- Tipper
