One Skein Trunk Show, October 2-9

Hey, local folks! We're pleased as punch to be hosting a trunk show for the book "One Skein" from October 2 thru 9. Interweave is sending over skazillions of samples, including my two favorites from the book: felted bowls and knitted cupcakes. I knit up the "Small Felted Bowl" from "One Skein" holding together one strand each of Lamb's Pride Bulky (in a limited-edition color called "Black Cherry," which we'll be offering to shoppers during the trunk show) and Trendsetter's "Charm," a carryalong yarn. Here's the Black Cherrylicious result:

Is it me, or does the addition of the Trendsetter carryalong yarn make this little baby look like the knitted version of linoleum? Stop by the shop during the first week in October to check out the trunk show, as well as shop for two limited-edition colors of Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Bulky.
