CeCe, Senorita!

I'm a huge fan of Bonne Marie Burns' patterns (found at chicknits.com), and a couple of months ago, I turned one of my customers on to Bonne's most recent pattern, a short-sleeved lacy summer sweater called "CeCe."

The customer -- Sandy -- loved the pattern as much as I did, so she purchased some of our Southwest Trading bamboo yarn, went home and purchased the download from Bonne Marie, and started her first lace project ever. Here's Sandy modeling the delightful finished product:

Sandy opted for a multicolored yarn, and I think it looks just as terrific as the CeCes shown on chicknits.com in solid colors. I've started a CeCe in Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece in a fashion-forward green color -- gotta light a fire under myself and finish it up!

Bonne Marie now also offers a three-quarter-length sleeve version of the pattern, if that's more your cup of tea.

Great work, Sandy -- your CeCe looks terrific!
