Another Post in Which Caren Gets a Puppy, Finishes a Sweater

Imagine my surprise when Caren showed up at Yarnzilla on Friday with both a brand new Yorkie puppy and a completed, unspeakably gorgeous sweater she knit from RYC Natural Silk Aran:

Caren and her new Yorkie, Jimmy

Believe it or not, completed sweaters and Yorkie puppies are about equally rare at Casa de Yarnzilla -- but that's only because there are so many great yarns and patterns available these days that it's hard to get more than halfway thru a garment without succumbing to the siren song of another one!

I had several small felted baskets and bowls strewn about on the worktables, in preparation for the Interweave "One Skein" trunk show we'll be hosting October 2-9. The larger-sized felted bowl made a perfect nest for a tuckered-out pup:

Both Jimmy and Caren's sweater received rave reviews from Caren's fellow Yarnzilla customers, although she was far more willing to let us caress and fondle Jimmy than the sweater . . .
