Fun Project: Vintage Bubble Bag

Yarn: 2 skeins Noro Silk Garden Light, 3 skeins Misti Alpaca Worsted, size 11 US circular needles

A customer brought in an adorable smaller version of this bag (Hi, Lisa G.!), and everyone at the store at the time fell in love with it. Lisa had used the yarn combination above rather than the Cascade 220 plus Something-or-Other combo called for in the book. I love the color changes caused by the Silk Garden Light, and the alpaca gives everything a nice subtle hairiness. This is a great weekend project for advanced-beginner knitters, and many different yarn combinations could be used. I highly recommend Kureyon, Silk Garden, or Silk Garden Light as one of the components, though, as the changing colors are an enormous part of the bag's charm, IMHO.
