Koigu Lusciousness

Dear Koigu Lover,

Remember seeing this GORGEOUS skirt in the Fall 2005 issue of Vogue Knitting magazine and thinking, "Wow -- I'd love to knit that skirt, but I could spend seventeen lifetimes and still not track down all the right colors . . . "

Well, take heart, sweet, sweet Koigu fanatic, because look what just arrived at Yarnzilla:



That's right -- a luscious array of nineteen pure merino beauties, just waiting to be whipped up into that breathtaking Vogue Knitting floor-length skirt (and in the exact colors called for in the magazine). Suffice it to say that we at Yarnzilla are honored and delighted to have been selected by Koigu to be a vendor for their skirt kit (there's a matching knitted top, too, which we have to scan and upload to the store's website -- we have the yarn for that too).

Before you all race off to put the Koigu Skirt Kit in your Yarnzilla shopping cart (and there better not be more than 5 of you, 'cause that's all we have ), let me mention that the although the skirt pattern appears to be written for a 25-inch finished waist only, deeper inspection reveals that it will actually accommodate up to a 36-inch waist (this flexibility is due to elastic being inserted in the waistband of the skirt, so you can wear it as tightly or loosely as you'd like).
